These are promises, not preferences. If one of them ever stops being true, it will be written here, with the date and the reason.

• No money ever touches ranking. No paid inclusion, no paid placement, no premium listings, no partnership with ranking consequences. If this site ever carries advertising, it will not be able to reach the ranker.
• We do not sell user data. Not queries, not clicks, not browsing.
• We do not bypass paywalls. We decline to index them. We do not break them.
• We do not hide the rules. They are published, versioned, and changed in public.
• We do not overclaim. Measurement dates are always shown, and “not measured” is an answer we display.
• We do not ship a page that fails our own standard. This one carries no trackers, no ads, no cookies, and no third-party requests, and it works with JavaScript switched off.
• No donor gets anything measurable. Not placement, not a badge, not a mention beside a result.

What we will not say

We are not a Google alternative — that invites a coverage comparison we would lose and do not want. We do not cover everything, deliberately. We are not a breaking-news wire. Where a site you expected is missing, its report card will tell you why.
