This letter rests on 100% of the grade. Every subject was measured, including article readability and accessibility. How this is worked out.
Access condition — reviewed
Asset-management pages open a full-screen panel that asks for your domicile and investor role. With the default Global domicile the Private investors role is refused, so a private reader can read these pages only by claiming a professional status they do not have. Decline leads back to the section's landing page, and closing the panel with its X button left an empty article area when we checked on 2026-09-25.
This applies on asset-management pages (/*/*/assetmanagement, where * is any one part of the address). Search results elsewhere on the site carry no label. We checked wealth-management insights, the 2021 annual review and the media pages, and found no panel there; other sections were not checked. No payment and no account are asked for, so the site is indexed. But a reader who does not hold the status cannot read the affected pages without claiming one they do not have. We name the condition rather than hide the site. A measured page behind the condition is never scored as free of interruptions.

- https://www.ubs.com/global/de/assetmanagement/insights/asset-class-perspectives/real-estate/articles/new-cycle-commences.html — observed 2026-09-29: Scroll-locked 'Willkommen bei Asset Management' panel asks for domicile and role at desktop and phone; 'Ablehnen' redirects to the asset-management landing page, which shows the panel again.
- https://www.ubs.com/global/en/assetmanagement/insights.html — observed 2026-09-29: 'Welcome to Asset Management' panel over 92% of the viewport, scroll-locked: 'Your domicile: Global', 'Private investors' shown as 'Content not available for this role - Return to homepage'; buttons 'Accept and continue' and 'Decline'.
- https://www.ubs.com/global/en/wealthmanagement/insights/2022/long-term-implications-of-the-war-in-ukraine.html — observed 2026-09-29: Counter-case outside the scope: wealth-management insights, the 2021 annual-review story and the media hub showed no investor panel at desktop or phone.

Observed interruptions
Ad and tracker counts above are network requests, not counts of visible ads or separate companies. They do not affect the interruption score.
Assessed 3 sampled pages. The largest detected ad area was 0% of a sampled viewport. No qualifying obstructive prompts were detected.
Only pages outside the reviewed access condition were assessed here. The condition's panel is named above rather than scored.
This is a sample, not a promise that the whole site has no interruptions. Ad detection can miss formats and content outside the sampled view. Older scans did not check visibility or overlapping ad rectangles as thoroughly. The score uses the strongest observed deduction, so one panel is not penalized under multiple names. How interruptions are scored.
The type, and who can use it
Measured on 2 rendered pages; latest measurement 2026-09-29. Every number is a mechanical fact about the page, not a judgment of its design.
| What | Measured | The bar |
|---|---|---|
| Body type size | 16px | 16px, the browser default |
| Characters per line | 84 | 45–90 |
| Line height | 1.62 | 1.5 (WCAG 1.4.8) |
| Text contrast | 16.6:1 | 4.5:1 (WCAG AA), 7:1 (AAA) |
| Text column | 51% of the window | at least 45% |
| Reflows at phone width | no — scrolls sideways at 360px | WCAG 1.4.10 |
| Dark mode | no | noted, not scored |
| Automated accessibility checks | no automated violations detected | WCAG 2.1 A and AA, via axe-core |
| Keyboard | no trap; focus visible on 38% of stops | never trapped, always visible |
| Structure | main landmark, 1 h1, no skipped heading levels | a main landmark, one h1, no skips |
| Alt text | 34% of 5 content images described | every content image |
| Reader mode | parses | parses (Firefox’s Readability) |
Automated accessibility checks catch an estimated 30–40% of real problems, so “no automated violations detected” is a floor, not a certificate. We never say “accessible”. How these are scored.

Newest 6 saved observations. Each describes a sampled page at that time; older, failed or held observations do not override the current reviewed card. Raw automated findings may have been superseded by later review or detector replay. No previous grade is inferred.

Think this is wrong? It may well be — the measurements cover only a handful of pages. Any reviewed admission decision and its dated evidence are shown above. Re-measurement on request is not built yet, so there is no button here that would do anything. When it exists it will be free and it will be on this page.
